Electives 2026

Electives will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:30-2:30pm at Inspire Dance Studio in Clearfield. You do not have to register for an all day class at Aspire Mountain Academy to register for an elective. New electives begin September 2026.

(No electives will be held in Ogden for Fall 2026.)

CLEARFIELD MONDAYS

Multi Sports Class

Ages 8-14

Taught by Coach Bo

Class for girls and boys
Play a variety of sports and learn the basic rules involved
Learn skills, practice drills and get some good exercise!
Taught by former college basketball and football player Coach Bo Finau--so friendly, encouraging and skilled!
$50/month ($180/semester)

Spanish Fluency

through Stories

Ages 10+

Taught by Brooke Stephens

Gain fluency through learning through stories, reading, and fun listening & speaking activities instead of memorizing conjugations
Internationally acclaimed TPRS method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading & Storytelling)

Ages 5-10

Class for girls and boys
Play a variety of P.E. games and learn tumbling
This will be a fun, non-competitive class for kids!

Jump Roping

Ages 5-14

Taught by Becca Nielson

Learn a variety of styles and skills of jump roping
All levels welcome
This will be a fun, non-competitive class!
Great exercise and good for the brain!
Taught by Becca Nielson, former competitive jump roper
This class will meet 7 times: Sept 10, 17, 24, Oct 1, Dec. 10, Jan. 7 & 14.

Rocketry

Ages 9-16

Taught by Adam Molling

Design, build, and launch rockets
Live launch rockets on Saturday mornings in Kaysville or Farmington (optional)
Ages 12+ will learn and apply principles of physics and math, ages 8-11 learn by experiments & design
Grades 6+ can enter into a national competition, all students can participate in the Saturday morning launches
Priority given to current students in grade 6+
$50/month ($180/semester)

Handbell Choir

Ages 5-16

Taught by Ashley Steed

Create beautiful music together in a handbell choir
Older students in charge of more complex parts and multiple bells while younger children have more simple parts and one bell
Class will run for 7 weeks: Oct, 8, 22, & 29, Nov. 5, 12 & 19, Dec. 3
Performance on Dec. 8th
